Mockups used to be the part that made me stall.
As a photographer, i have so many photos that i'm excited to sell, whether that is on Etsy, shopify or your own website. Then remember in order to do that i had to open a bunch of PSDs, drop files in, export, rename, and do it again... OVER AND OVER. That grind doesn’t feel “creative.” It feels like an agonising game of admin work.
Building a batch mockup tool for Photoshop changed that for me. Now mockups are a step I run, not a task I dread. That shift matters, because it’s the difference between “I’ll list it later” and “this is going up today.”

It’s a repeatable Photoshop script that swaps your images into mockups and exports the finished files in one run.
A Photoshop script is a set of instructions that photoshop follows in a sequential order to automate tasks.
Instead of baby sitting each mockup file, I do this:
- Put the images in a folder.
- Run the batch script.
- Let Photoshop handle the copy/paste, resizing and exporting while I move on to other things.
That’s it. No tabs everywhere. No forgetting which file you already exported within moments.
Why it makes Etsy listings easier (and cleaner)
Etsy likes clear thumbnails and multiple listing images. Buyers do too. The problem is mockups take time, so most people either:
- upload one or two images and call it done, or
- spend hours making the listing look “right”
This tool makes it realistic to create a full set in no time by creating MULTIPLE variations FAST!
How it changed the way I work day-to-day
Here’s the honest part: it gave me my energy back.
Before, I’d avoid listing days because I knew mockups would eat the whole session. I’d tell myself I’d do it “tomorrow,” then tomorrow would turn into a week. The work was done, but it wasn’t making money.
Now I can knock out mockups quickly, list while I still have momentum, and keep the cycle moving:
create → mockups → list → repeat.
I now have over 200 listings on my Etsy as a result and don't dread the process anymore!
