If you want to sell photography prints on Etsy, start here!
The first time a stranger bought one of my prints, I opened the order and just sat there. Someone I’ve never met picked my photo to hang in their home.
A year ago, I had no big audience and no viral post. I listed photos I liked, kept showing up, and learned what Etsy rewards.
Now I’m past 100 sales from people I didn’t know five minutes earlier.
If you don't have thousands of followers or struggle to sell any prints on your own site, it is not your art that is the problem!
Etsy already has buyers. People go there searching for wall art, gifts, and travel prints. That matters more than followers or a nice looking website.
What Etsy gives you up front:
Yes, Etsy takes fees. Early on, I’ll take the fees if it means strangers can find my work without me pushing every sale on Instagram.
If you don’t have an audience, Etsy is your audience!
Before you touch ads, make the listings clean:
Then you can REALLY see the results with Etsy Ads.
Etsy Ads are simple. You set a daily budget. Etsy shows your listing. You pay ONLY when someone clicks which means you shouldn't reach the daily limit.
Here’s how I start:
When you have enough listings and keep those ads running your stats can look like this for any month!
Printful (print on demand) services:
If every sale turns into packaging, label printing, and a trip across town, you’ll burn out.
I use Printful for print-on-demand which is linked seamlessly with Etsy.
Is it gallery level fine art paper? No. For most customers it’s more than good enough, and it keeps prices realistic and affordable so you can get those sales!
The system stays simple:
That consistency is what builds sales.
Photoshop Mockup Tool
I have developed a Photoshop tool that saves you hours from setting up your Etsy listings by automating the process of creating dozens of mockups for each listing. You can check out more info about it below:
